Tropical Tree, “Tree of Heaven ” or Tree Miracles , family of the Moringaceae , the Moringa tree is native of northeast India, but can also grow in Africa , Madagascar , Asia and South America. The use of Moringa oil dates back to ancient civilizations where the Greeks, Egyptians and Romans gave him considerable interest. It is commonly called Behen oil or Ben oil. It is found in the tombs of ancient Egypt.

Use

The seed powder has the ability to purify water. The fresh or powdered leaves after drying are used to fight against malnutrition and related diseases against this undernourishment. They contain 2 times more fat than milk, 3 times more potassium than bananas, four times more Vitamin A than carrots and 7 times more Vitamin C than an orange.

Its properties

Its seeds contain edible oil which can also be used externally. It is obtained by mechanical cold pressure of the fruit and the seeds and is used in cosmetics. The chemical composition of the oil extracted from the ripe seed is similar to that of olive oil. Rich in saturated fatty acid ( 13 % ), in unsaturated fatty acids ( 82 %) and behenic acid ( approx 5.7 % ) .

Its reconstructive properties of the lipids of the epidermis are well known. Oleic acid confers generating virtues. The cationic polyelectrolyte regulates the skin pH . Vitamin A present in the seed stabilizes ( external application) the loss of vitamin resulting from a long exposure to the sun for example.

Indications

For the face :

Very effective due to its mineral content and vitamin A, it is particularly suitable for very dry skins, demineralized, even desquamated and sensitive. It can provide comfort and healing for skin prone to eczema and psoriasis.

Hair :

Excellent as a hair mask , it moisturizes , softens and nourishes dry and damaged hair.

For the body :

It can be mixed with a body milk for enhanced moisturizing and nourishing action on the dry areas (elbows , knees, feet).
