Rhassoul or Ghassoul is a natural clay which is extracted in the Atlas mountains, in Marocco. It has been used for centuries to clean the hair and the skin.

Tensioactiv based shampoos or soaps modify chemically the water surface tension, thus separating the dirt and greases of the skin or hair than is rinsed after.

Rhassoul clay cleans based on a physical process. Mixed with water, it gives a very soft paste. With its very fine particles, il absorbs the impurities and greases. It goes away with the rinsing water. This does not destroy the lipoprotecting film of the skin or of the hair, it doen not attack the natural protection of the hair or of the skin. It does not irritate the sebace glands.

It is used to wash the hair or the skin : washed with Rhassoul, the hair is soft, silky, bright and light. It is convenient for any type of skin, sensitive, oily or dry.
